The whole job, inside one workflow.
Documents, calculations, approvals and every step between — one flow,
shaped to how your firm already works. Not scattered across folders, inboxes and a
file called sizing_
Built for the work, not for one industry
01The Eng is not a fence. If your firm’s work has an engineering crux — something calculated, checked, drawn, modelled, documented and revised — this fits, whatever you make. The discipline is the same; the product is shaped to yours.
Fabrication & process equipment
Vessels, exchangers, skids, structures. Tags, revisions, hold points and dossiers — the work this product grew up in.
Glass & architectural processing
Customer drawings in, checked against your own catalogues and specifications; cutting lists, estimates and job packs out.
Composites & special products
Aquariums, pools, tanks in acrylic or FRP. The 3D model and analysis run in their own software; their inputs, reports and revisions live in the workflow.
Logistics & freight
Every shipment is a set of documents on a deadline — generated, tracked and revised in one place instead of retyped across many.
Engineering consultancies
Calculation packages, drawing registers, review chains, transmittals — the spine of civil, structural and process consultancy work.
Yours
If your week involves a calculation, a document that answers to it, and a revision that must reach everyone — tell us about it. Shaping the product to a firm is the product.
Every technical firm runs on spreadsheets nobody owns.
Built over fifteen years by people who have mostly left. They are the firm’s real knowledge — and your ERP does not know they exist.
So the numbers get retyped: into the quote, the drawing, the purchase order. Each retype is a chance to be wrong, and when the answer changes only one place gets updated.
The part nobody else builds
02Upload the sheet you already use. It becomes a step in the job.
We do not replace your calculations — they encode things no vendor could know. We wire them in: inputs from the enquiry, outputs wherever the number is needed.
Change an input and everything downstream knows. Supersede the sheet and every job using it is flagged.
The documentation flow is the spine
03A technical firm runs on its documents — numbered, revised, reviewed, transmitted. That flow is the deepest part of YouFlow Eng, and it is shaped to your firm’s own way of working: your numbering, your review chain, your templates, your registers.
And when a step needs specialist software we do not replace — CAD, analysis, a vendor’s tool — the workflow does not stop. It prepares the inputs that tool needs, hands them to the engineer who runs it, and takes the resulting report back in. The output is recorded against the job, and the flow continues from that point.
The workflow always knows where the job stands — even while part of it is outside.
And the rest of what an engineering job needs
04Documents know their revision
IFR, IFA, IFC, as-built — and which open POs still quote the old one.
Inspection stops the job
Work cannot pass a hold point until it is signed. The inspector gets a link.
The dossier assembles itself
Certificates, weld maps, NDT, hydrotest — collected as the work happens.
Departments see the same job
Procurement sees the current revision. Commercial sees the NCR the day it is raised.
It becomes your system
Your numbering, your templates, your approval chain, your logo — matched to how the firm already works, not the other way round. Your data exports on request.
How a deployment runs
05YouFlow Eng is live — our own engineering practice and a civil design consultancy run their projects on it, so the gaps get found and fixed in daily use. No two firms document a job the same way, so no deployment starts from a box. It starts like this:
01 Study
We sit with your documents, your steps and your approvals first — under NDA, before we see a single file. How the firm actually works, not how a vendor assumes it should. Your documents, drawings, calculations, methods and IP never leave that boundary.
02 Shape
Your numbering, your templates, your review chain, your registers — the system is configured to match, before anyone is asked to use it.
03 Your tools stay
CAD, analysis, the vendor software you trust — kept. The workflow feeds them their inputs and takes their reports back in.
04 Go live
One workflow first, then the next. People keep working while the system takes over the paperwork around them.
05 It keeps the record
Every revision, review and transmittal, findable years later. The firm’s memory stops living in leavers’ inboxes.
Security & confidentiality
06Your data stays yours
Every record exports on request, in open formats. Leaving is always possible — that is deliberate.
Encrypted, both ways
Data is encrypted on its way to the system and where it rests.
One firm, one boundary
Each customer’s data is isolated from every other’s. Nobody shares a pool.
Confidentiality as standard
NDAs signed before we study your workflow. Your documents, drawings and numbers are treated like our own calculation files.
